So, I had an MDAC problem this morning, and of course I tried "Googling" it. I guess they won't sue me since I actually used GOOGLE to do the search. Anyway, the search criteria was:

"The .Net Data OLE DB Provider(System.Data.OleDb) requires Microsoft Data Access Components(MDAC)"

And I got the following search result (notice #3 which is a crap destination):

So, I tried a couple of Firefox extensions, both of which failed to block this site from the search results.

CustomizeGoogle and GoogleFilter

The CustomizeGoogle extension even lets you put in a list of sites to block, which I did, and it still shows up.

Sucky!

Firefox Search Plugin - Some Amazing Stats (to me at least):

First of course: 24,696 hits! OMG!

Clipmarks is my 7th biggest referrer! Thanks fellow clipsters!

By far, most visitors have IE? And the third largest chunk is from IE7! WTF?

1 Internet Explorer 6.x::::::::::::::::::::46.04%
2 Firefox:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::34.59%
3 Internet Explorer 7.x::::::::::::::::::::9.68%

Why would there be so many IE users coming to a site advertising a Firefox plugin?
